Overview

You can install Accounting Seed Financial Suite core package into your existing Salesforce Instance in just a few simple steps. If you will be using the Orders & Inventory package, repeat these steps to install that package, too.

Install Accounting Seed

1. Go to the Product Installation Links page to access the latest installation links for Accounting Seed to begin your two-week trial. When your trial has ended, you can contact Support through the Customer Support Portal to activate a customer or qualified partner license.

2. When you receive the installation links, log into Salesforce and paste the Financial Suite installation link into your browser’s address bar and press Enter. 

   Note: If you are installing in a Sandbox environment, you must edit the installation link URL by replacing login with test.
   
   For example, https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage would become https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage

3. When prompted, we recommend selecting Install for Admins Only and then click Install.  
   
   Important: After installing, a System Administrator should grant Field Level Security (FLS) permissions to other profiles using the Accounting Seed Permission Sets.

Notes:

• The installation for each of the packages may take a few minutes to complete. If it does, you can click Done to leave the page. You will receive an email letting you know that the installation has finished.  

• Each user will need both an Accounting Seed license and be assigned to an Accounting Seed Permission Set to use the application and to access the data.

• Partners Note: Only one Salesforce environment can be open when installing Accounting Seed.
