Prerequisites

Before you begin:

1. In your Production environment, navigate to Setup and select Your Account.
2. You must have Manage Billing permission to perform this step. If you are unable to perform this step, contact Salesforce Support.

Add Required SKUs to Production

Add the following SKUs to your cart:

• Salesforce Foundations — Entitlements - Flex Credits (Required)
  Note: When turning on foundations, select the flex credit model.
• Data Cloud Provisioning (Required if your account does not already have Data Cloud)
• Salesforce Foundations — Data Cloud Segmentation and Activation (Required)
• Salesforce Platform — Login and Dev Provisioning (Optional)

If you are unable to perform this step, contact Salesforce Support.

Note: Einstein Requests and Data Cloud Credit consumption apply to both production and sandbox environments.

Refresh Sandbox

After enabling Foundations, navigate to Setup → Sandboxes in Production to refresh your Partial Sandbox to ensure it picks up new licenses and entitlements.

Enable Einstein

Once the refresh is finished, complete these steps in the sandbox:

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Einstein Generative AI.
2. Select Einstein Setup.
3. Toggle Turn on Einstein.
4. Return to Setup and click Refresh.

Enable Agentforce

Perform these steps in the sandbox environment:

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Agentforce Studio.
2. Click Agentforce Agents under Agentforce Studio.
3. Toggle Agentforce on.
4. Scroll down and toggle Enable the Agentforce (Default) Agent on.

Set Up Data Cloud

Perform these steps in the sandbox environment.

Check Data Cloud Status

Check if Data Cloud is already activated. If yes, skip to Install Accounting Seed Agents Package.

If Data Cloud is Not Activated:

1. Navigate to Data Cloud Setup.
2. Click Get Started to enable Data 360.
   Setup may take a few minutes to finish.
3. Assign the Data Cloud Architect permission set to admin users.

Install Accounting Seed Agents Package

Prerequisite: You must be using the Financial Suite Package version 3.348 or later.

To install the Accounting Seed Agents package in your sandbox click here to find the install link for sandboxes.

Create Your Agent

1. Open Agentforce Agents.
2. Click the New Agent button.
   
3. Select Create from a Template option.
   
4. Scroll down to find the agent templates.
5. Click a template to use.
   
6. Click Next.
    

Select Topics

Topics are the jobs your agent can do. Agents have pre-selected topics, but you can deselect any you don't want to include.

1. Review the pre-selected subagents.
2. Deselect subagents if necessary.
3. Click Next.
   

Configure Agent Settings

Customize Your Agent

• Name: The name is automatically assigned (e.g., "Bill Pay").
  Consider adding the word "Agent" to the name (e.g., "Bill Pay Agent")

Use the following descriptions to determine Role:

• Bill Pay Agent: Streamlines vendor payment processes, optimizes cash flow management, and enhances financial controls within the Accounting Seed ecosystem.
• Collections Agent: Query Billing, Master Billing, and Cash Receipt records by status/balance. Send collection notices with PDFs and payment links. Predict payment likelihood based on payment history.
• General Ledger Agent: Your role is to Post and Unpost Accounting Seed records such as Billings, Cash Receipts, Payables, Cash Disbursements, Journal Entries, Timecards, and Amortization Entries and answer questions related to posted/unposted records.

2. Add your company information.
3. Click Next.

Set Language and Tone

1. Select preferred Language.
2. Set Tone (recommended: Casual).
3. Click Create.
   A dialog box opens, prompting you to Activate your agent.

Activate the Agent

1. Activate the agent.
2. There may be a warning about missing details prior to activation. Continue with activation as these details are addressed in the following steps.

Configure Model Settings

1. Navigate Setup, and select 'Einstein Audit, Analytics, and Monitoring Setup'.
2. In the 'Select the Model Option for Agentforce' option, select AWS-Hosted (Optional, but recommended).

Set Up Permissions

Create or Clone Permission Set

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Permission Sets.
2. Do either of the following:
   • Clone the Accounting Seed Agents permission set.
   • Create a custom permission set.

Important: If you previously uninstalled the Agents package, do not use the same cloned permission set that was used before uninstall. Assign the Accounting Seed Agents permission set again.

Grant Agent Access

1. Navigate to the Permission Set.
2. Click the Agent Access link in the Apps section.
   
3. Grant the permission set access to the agent(s).
   
4. Click Save.

Assign to Users

1. Navigate to Setup → Users.
2. Assign this permission set to user(s).

Schedule Payment Analytics Job

This scheduled job is required for the Collections Agent functionality.

1. Navigate to Setup and search for Apex Classes.
2. Click the Schedule Apex button.
3. Configure the job:
   • Job name: Type Customer Payment Analytics Scheduler.
   • Apex Class field: Type CustomerPaymentAnalyticsScheduler.
   • Click Search.
4. Set frequency:
   • Frequency: Select once a week (or however often you process billings).
   • Start date: Add a start date.
   • End date: Add an end date.
   • Preferred Start Time: Select 12:00 AM.
5. Save the scheduled job.

Access Your Agent

1. Refresh the page.
2. Return to the Accounting App (or the custom app used in your organization).
   The Agent icon should now be visible in the top right of the screen for users with the assigned permission set(s).
3. Click the icon to Select an agent to use.
