Overview

The VAT Code Report displays a listing of all the VAT Codes and it can be filtered by the following:

• Company
• Country
• Start Date and End Date
• Group By
• Main VAT Codes Only

The VAT Codes are the Tax Groups from Accounting Seed, which were extracted as part of data into Avalara VAT Reporting. From the VAT Code Report you can view details on the invoices that make up the total amounts for a selected Tax Group/Tax Code. 

Drill-down to View Invoice Data from a VAT Return

1. Log into your VAT Reporting Account. 
2. Click the Reports drop-down menu, and select VAT Code Report.
   
   
   
   The VAT Code Report displays.
   
   
   
   
3. Filter the report based upon any or all of the following:
1. Company
2. Country
3. Start Date and End Date
4. Group By
5. Main VAT Codes Only
4. Click Apply.
5. Click the View Details hyperlink on a VAT Code to drill-down into more information. The listing of Invoices display that make up the totals for the selected VAT Code.
   
   
   
   
6. Click an invoice hyperlink to drill-down into the details for the selected invoice.
