Approval Process: Auto Post Record After Record has been Approved

The approval process locks the record when the record is submitted for approval.  However, after the record has been approved by the appropriate party and the record reverts back to the owner, the record correctly remains locked so the approval cannot be modified.  However, locking the record also prevents the record owner from posting the record. 

When the record has been approved, the system should automatically post the record (which would also keep it locked from further modification).

  Hi Kathryn,

  I agree that it would be great for the record owner to be able to post the record once it's been approved as a default out-of-the-box option.

  In the short term, if you desire this functionality, you could create a a record triggered flow that would automatically post the record once it is approved.
