Faster way to update Billings Lines comments from multiple billings

Is there a faster way to update Billings Lines comments from multiple billings?  It doesn't seem like there is a list view option for "billing lines" only, so I don't know how to mass edit billing lines without having to open each line and edit the comment line then save.

  You can easily do so by creating a tab for the billingg line object.

  I tried that, and the comment column is locked

  Follow the instructions here to add the tab.

  Then edit your list views to include your comment field. You should then be able to multi select lines and edit in batch.

  comment is a long text area field and is therefore not able to be in-line edited from a list view.  I'd suggest a tool to allow you to do mass updates.  Any mass updating tool will work such as Dataloader.io.  As a former accounting professional who uses Excel heavily, I like Xappex's XL Connector.
