Relabeling deprecated objects/fields

It would be really, really helpful if deprecated objects/fields/tabs were relabeled. 

As an example, the new Accounting Home. In the Object Manager, they're both listed as Accounting Home. While one is visible and the other isn't, it would be great if one was noted as deprecated so you know for SURE which one needs to be hidden.

  On top of that Accounting Seed should be proactively removing or hiding these in their package instead of leaving them in place

  We have a client that uses standard Accounting Seed profiles. A user currently sees 2 Accounting Home tabs. We are unable to change the permission set and unable to verify which one should be visible.

  What is the status of this? 

  There are TWO deprecated Accounting Seed tabs (visualforce) that are no longer in use:

  • Accounting Home (Visualforce)
  • Bank Direct Connect (Visualforce)

  Even if we mute access to those tabs in a permission set group, Sys Admins can still see both.  Please do the following:

  1. Per @Jade's request above, clearly relabel each one as "(Deprecated) Accounting Home" and "(Deprecated) Bank Direct Connect
  2. Remove them from your managed package permission sets, especially Accounting Manager and AS Full Admin
