  Hi Bao, 

  I ran into a scenario that also required customization. Here's how I worked around it.

  Our department has always used the "Reference" fields for all of our records(Cash Disbursements, Cash Receipts, and Journal Entry Lines) and we wanted to keep future records consistent. The solution was to create a "Flow" that copies any text in the description field to the reference field when a source record is created through BDC.

  Salesforce support helped set it up for us. Hope this helps.
