Tax Groups when selling same product in multiple states

How do you handle applying the correct tax group to an opportunity, sales order and billing line if a product is sold in multiple states?  So if I have a tax group for PA another for OH and a third for WV, do I need to have 3 separate products?

  No. In this instance You shouldn’t need multiple products. Just don’t set a default tax group on the product. You can set up other automation to select the right tax group if you want.

  Thank you, Rebecca. I will discuss with my client. It appears the best way for this to work is setting Tax Groups on the Customer Account (just like Tax Products) so they can remain in the recommended HLP situation.  Seems strange why this behavior was not extended to Tax Groups.
