Would love an option to create bills based on Project, not Customer

We really need the option to just generate our billing off of the project from timecard lines and not by customer.  For us the Project is the important designation, not the customer.  I have talked to support and the work around with cloning the billing lines and then separating them out that way takes our A/R person twice as long.  This is a frustrating discovery for us.

  Hi Martha,

  Would another option be for you to create multiple projects? One for each customer?

  We do have that already.  I had a call last week and they explained that time cards go by customer, not project when converting to the billing.  Is that correct?

  Hi Martha,

  When you create billings from Time Cards the Account related to the project is shown as the account to bill. We could probably make it so you could override this account in the Time and material billing screen. Would this help you be more efficient?
