Inconsistent UI/functionality: Schedule recurring records

Accounting Seed has a number of areas where the functionality and user interface are not consistent.  One of these is around scheduling of recurring records.

• In your Koali release, AS introduced "Accounting Period Tasks".  In this new functionality you had more flexibility in how you defined intervals. This was an improvement over the limitations on how you could define intervals on the other "Recurring" objects.  See screenshot below

• However, it has been multiple releases and many years later and the recurring objects (recurring billing, recurring payable and recurring journal entry) still are using the old method of defining intervals and that method is inflexible and only allows selection of pre-defined intervals that AS allows (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).  See screenshot below.  These recurring objects should be updated to use the more flexible method introduced in accounting period tasks.

Request:  Update all recurring objects (billing, payable, journal entry) to use the same more flexible method of defining intervals that currently exists for accounting period tasks

  Thank you for submitting this feature request. I will submit this request to the Product Development team for review to update all the recurring objects for more consistency.
