Bank Reconciliation

I designed the bank rec before leaving AS.. Unfortunately there is no workaround. You must use lightning for all of AS's new features as they are designed using LWC. You also must have My Domain setup as well. If you haven't upgraded to lightning you will want to do so as SF and AS are pushing all development using lightning.

Our org also only uses SF Classic. Making the forced transition to SF Lightning to be able to access the bank reconciliation feature has been extremely challenging. So much so, that we had to hire a 3rd party to assist us in the transition. The situation is disappointing, to say the least.

Samantha...we were in the same boat.  Our org is not transitioning to Lightning until we have to, but now I have to train my finance staff on how to use Lightning (while all other SF users continue in classic).  It's been a pain, I made another post regarding the reconciliation reports. I don't feel a .csv file is "reader-friendly" (not to mention what our auditors will think of it).   I am curious if the new reconciliation report works for your organization or if I am just being unreasonable.

Our staff is not very tech savvy. We chose SF Classic to keep our database and users in accord. I would not be opposed to switching to Lightning if the support was there. However, with vague release notes and break down of the new features I am extremely hesitant. Personally, the last few releases have not benefitted our business. They have made it more difficult. I just get my staff adapted to the changes of one and shortly there after another comes for us to tackle. It’s very time consuming.
