Implementation Mapping Templates

Something I don't see explicitly mentioned in any of the implementation documentation (or listed in the import template list) is the necessity of maintaining a couple key mapping documents for easy import of old data into the new system.

What I mean by that is a list where you have the old values next to the list of the new values they should import into in Accounting seed that can be used as a Vlookup() or Index(Match()) to get the import templates correct. 

 As an example, occasionally the old Chart of Accounts exactly matches the new one, but most often, there are subtle to extreme differences, and it's very helpful to only have to think about what those are once - when you're creating the mapping document. This is especially true if GL Variables are part of the equation.

The main ones are:

Chart of Accounts

Accounts/Contacts (Customers/Vendors)

Products

It would be useful to your customers if they were reminded that these would be very helpful documents to maintain. And even better if there were Mapping templates.

  Also, note that these are just excel files with headings that match the field names. You can modify these templates and add/delete columns as necessary.
