What is the proper way to create credit memos in Accounting Seed?

  When preparing the credit memo what date do you use in the date information section? It really doesn't address dates at the above link. Thanks

  Hello Lori, 

  Your billing or issue date will usually default to date you create the credit memo but the Accounting period you select is what usually drives your reporting.
