Automatic Inventory History Records on Period Close

It would be really helpful if Inventory Balance history records could be automatically generated as of the end of a period just like AR and AP history records are automatically generated when you close a period.

You could include the option of whether to auto-generate the records in the Accounting Settings just like AR and AP, too.

  What would be even better than this: Inventory Cubes.

  A structure like the financial cubes that hold a beginning inventory balance for the period and is updated when the period is closed.  This would really simplify the month end inventory reconciliation process.

  It would also be really helpful to add the product cost as of the history date on the historical IQA records.
