The Default Ledger automatically defaults to the Actual Ledger and is the Transactional Ledger for an organization(s), which is used to record actual results. The Default Ledger can be modified to select a different ledger, if necessary.
Edit the Default Ledger
- Navigate to Accounting Home and click the Setup tab. Then, under the Configurations menu, click Default Ledger. The Default Ledger screen displays.
- The Default Ledger automatically defaults to the Actual Ledger. If you want to select a different ledger, click the Pencil icon that displays to the right of Default Ledger. Then, select the desired ledger from the Default Ledger drop-down list.
Note: If you want to edit the Ledger record, do not click the Pencil icon. Instead, mouseover the Ledger. Then, click Edit.
The Edit dialog box will display. Edit the record, as necessary. Otherwise, click View if you only want to view the record.
