Bar Code Scanning

Overview

Accounting Seed allows the use of bar code scanning to update serial numbers for products and verify product information.

Scan a Bar Code

1. For a serialized product, click on the item and click the Scan to update the serial numbers for that particular item.
2. You can also scan the Product Code to check and make sure this is indeed the right product that you are scanning.  It will error out if it does not match. This is an optional step and you can leave it blank and move forward.
3. Click Save & Complete.
4. Now the serial numbers are updated on the shipment lines.
5. Update the Status from Scheduled to Shipped.
6. Click Save.
