Accounting Seed Hub Authorization

AP Automation is available to all customers operating in US Dollars. To activate the features, please send an email to licensing@accountingseed.com.

Overview 

This utility allows the real-time transmission of data to and from your org using webhooks. A webhook provides a way to communicate between two systems or applications in real-time. In Accounting Seed, we use webhooks to update records in your org based upon events that occur in another system and allow data to be queried and sent from your org to the external system.  

Currently, this authorization is a pre-requisite for the use of the AP Automation features, which is an integration with Edenred Pay. 

Best Practice: Clicking the Authorize Accounting Seed Hub button is a one-time setting, which we recommend should be performed by a user with the AS Full Admin permission set assigned. Some organizations have an "integration user," and this type of user can complete this setting as long as they have a Salesforce license, the AS Full Admin permission set and additional permissions, which are listed in the Update Page Layout and Permissions section in the AP Automation Onboarding Process article. 

Important: When using the "integration user," you must log out as your username, and explicitly log in as the integration user. Note that using the "Login" button on the user record to log in as the integration user will display an insufficient privileges error message when you attempt to complete the Authorize AS Hub setting. 

Authorize AS Hub

1. As a user with AS Full Admin access, navigate to Accounting Home and click the Setup tab. Then, under the Utilities menu, click Accounting Seed Hub.

2. Click the Authorize Accounting Seed Hub button. The Allow Access dialog box displays.
   
   
   

3. Click Allow. The Accounting Seed Hub Authorization page refreshes.

Your Org name displays and the button changes to Re-Authorize Accounting Seed Hub. Your org is now ready to send and receive real-time information.
