Overview
Creating a refund to a customer can include multiple steps depending upon the following two variables:
- Payment Status - Has the customer paid in full, partially paid or not paid for the sale?
- Inventoried Product - Is this an inventoried product?
Customer Returns
Select the related knowledge article based upon the return scenario:
- Return a non-inventory product or service that is not paid by the customer
- Return a non-inventory product or service that is partially paid by the customer
- Return a non-inventory product or service that is fully paid by the customer
- Return an inventoried product that is not paid by the customer
- Return an inventoried product that is partially paid by the customer
- Return an inventoried product that is fully paid by the customer
