Overview
An Accounting Seed user must first be set up as a Salesforce user.
- Log into Salesforce and navigate to Setup.
- Salesforce Classic: Click Setup on the menu bar at the top of the page.
- Lightning Experience: Click the Gear icon on the menu bar at the top of the page and click Setup.
- Navigate to Installed Packages.
- Salesforce Classic: Select Build on the left navigation menu and click Installed Packages.
- Lightning Experience: Enter Installed Packages in the search textbox.
- Click Manage Licenses beside the Accounting Seed Financial Suite package.
- When the Installed Packages page displays, click Add Users.
- Select users from the Available Users list by clicking the checkbox to the left of each name.
- Click Add.
- If you are using the Orders & Inventory module, repeat these steps to allocate licenses for that package.
Note: Once the Users have been added, if at any point you need to view the listing of Licensed Users, you can always return to Manage Licenses to view the list.
Deallocate Licenses
- Navigate to Installed Packages.
- Click Manage Licenses beside Financial Suite and Orders & Inventory.
- Click Remove beside a user’s name.

There is no app setup section
Hi Sonja, The Accounting Seed probably has not been installed yet.
